Creating Habits and Self-Care for Business Owners with Marissa Rehder

Today I am talking with Marissa Rehder about her journey from a burned out teacher to finding her passion and purpose. We also touch on self-care and how it is different than what society tells us. My teachers will especially connect with Marissa’s story!

Marissa Rehder is a former teacher who found a love for supporting other teachers throughout her own process of self discovery. From pre-med to business to falling in love with the school atmosphere to helping fellow teachers find joy in what they do, listen as she dives into it all in today’s episode.

Marissa is the founder of The Teacher Haven, an online community offering support and professional and personal development to teachers. It includes an online self-care course and is also a monthly membership allowing teachers to gain insight into handling the stresses of both school and life.

In this episode, you will learn:

  • About Marissa’s journey from teaching to where she is now
  • Indicators of burnout and ways to avoid it
